Dr. Franklin grew up in South Central Pennsylvania and graduated at the top of her class from Shippensburg High School. A dedicated student and competitive swimmer, she went on to earn her bachelor’s degree with highest honors from the University of Virginia in 2003. She received her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh, where she earned the Dean’s Scholarship and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society. She later completed her Orthodontics Specialty Certificate and Master’s in Oral Biology at Temple University in 2009, conducting advanced research in 3D imaging and facial esthetics.

After working in female-led private practices in Baltimore, Dr. Franklin returned to South Central Pennsylvania in 2013 to open Franklin Orthodontics, which has since grown into a thriving practice serving thousands in the Chambersburg community. She remains committed to lifelong learning through active involvement in professional organizations, including the ADA, AAO, PDA, and PAO. Outside of work, Dr. Franklin enjoys spending time with her husband, Edward, and their three children, traveling, cooking, and staying active through swimming.
